  1. Hey Mr. Gmia,

Do you have tips for a perfectionist like me? When I do things, I try to do them just right. I always try to be perfect and I always try to make sure everything is just the way I like it.

The problem is we live in an imperfect world and it is really difficult to get things just the way you like them.

While at times being a perfectionist and paying a lot of attention to details can be a good thing how would you advise me to overcome my need to make sure things are perfect?

How should I tell myself that something will never be perfect and I should just go for it now?

I have let a lot of things slip past me because the circumstance wasn't "just right".

    Thank you.

    1. You have already taken the first step in understanding that it is illogical to try to do everything perfect. Now it is important to understand that you do not put less effort into accomplishing any goals you may have just because of this realization. Grasping any valuable opportunity that presents itself is a no brainer but you must recognize that what you desire always comes with calculated risks. It's on you to determine how much you are willing to lose.
